那么这篇文章的可信度到底如何呢？实际上根据爱因斯坦文集中的书信我们可以看到，Lieserl 是爱因斯坦在1902年一月和他的妻子Mileva Maríc在他们结婚前一年迎来的一个女儿的名字，而根据爱因斯坦在1903年书信中提到的线索，Lieserl在1903年不幸早夭，去世的时候只有大约21个月大，当然也就不可能在上个世纪80年代将书信捐献给希伯来大学。这封揭示爱因斯坦临终秘密的信也当然是后人的托伪之作。虽然真实的原作者仍是个谜，不过这篇伪造的书信文笔优美，其中一些观点也颇有见地，也许最终证明是个“遥遥领先的预言”也未可知，难怪在国外社交媒体上上引起轰动，被人纷纷转载，
